A Vision of Hope Conference
Colorado Springs, CO
October 29th, 2010 3:00 pm — October 31st, 2010 12:00 pm
The EC is co-sponsoring this conference with Emmaus Journey, a ministry that provides Bible study resources for Catholic evangelism and discipleship.
For more information and to register, visit Vision of Hope.
We will have a Campus Ministry track with six workshops:
- Evangelization that Works on Campus – learn about a vision for evangelization that will empower staff, engage student leadership, and reach new students on campus
- Launching a Campus-wide Small Group ministry – strategy matters when launching small groups. Develop a small group outreach for your ministry based on best practices that fit your campus culture.
- Peer faith mentoring – Students listen closest to other students. See how you can equip your students to intentionally mentor other Catholic students in the practices of Catholic discipleship.
- Proven Lenten Outreach on campus – No gimmicks allowed. These are strategies for reaching out during Lent that will draw many Catholics and non-Catholics into the power of the Paschal Mystery
- Large Group Campus Outreaches – No longer just for large Protestant campus organizations! Learn how Catholic Campus Ministries are engaging large groups on a weekly basis on campus.
- Getting College Students to Pray – We all know that helping college students begin a fruitful life of prayer is the key to the spiritual life. This workshop will share how you can help college students become joyfully committed to daily mental prayer
